Information about available courses/studies at Swedish universities

General information about studing in Sweden you will find at the page "Study in Sweden". On this page the Embassy will present information about different postgraduate and other studies and courses that we receive during the year. The information will be general, for more information you will have to look at the webpages we will inform about. Please remember that the Embassy can not help you in contacting the universities, high schools etc. of your choice.

The Faculty of Medicine at Lund University offers Masters Programme in Public Health. The programme provides a global perspective on the cross-disciplinary area of public health and lasta for two years. More information in the Facts box.

SWEDEX is an international certificate in Swedish as a foreign language. It can be taken in Sweden or abroad and is an independent certificate one can take regardless of how one learnt Swedish. It consists of two different examinations at the level A2 and B1 on the Council of Europe level of attainment scales. At both levels all language skills are tested, with an emphasis on communication competence. More information at the SWEDEX webpage (see Facts box).

For those who would like to study in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, a new webpage, Study in Stockholm, is now available with information about the 200 masters programmes to choose from. The webpage studyinstockholm.se is run by Stockholms Akademiska Forum, a member organization for the 21 universities and university colleges in Stockholm and the City of Stockholm. A new school, the Swedish academy of realist art, has been opened in Stockholm. The Atelier Stockholm is a school of fine arts devoted to teaching realistic drawing and painting using traditional techniques and methods of the Renaissance, 18th and 19th-century European academies and the Russian academy.
